This beautiful blue plate is an antique Hazel Atlas Royal Lace Cobalt Blue Dinner Plate. This design was pressed and distributed in the 1930s. It features a large 8-pointed star outline and delicate floral patterns in the middle.
This Royal Lace pattern decorated many items - we can tell this is specifically a dinner plate due to its width. You see in the 1930s, one mustn’t confuse the dinner plate with the smaller luncheon plate or divided grill plate, and use it at the improper time!
Nowadays it can be used however you like. All Beyond the Wildflower dishes are sealed with an FDA approved food safe resin, allowing you to have original function of each dish, or simply hang and display it.
