The Buns
Welcome to this adorable nest of bunnies…on nests! Introducing: Etta, Eleanore, Anna, Daisy, Charlotte, and Clover
These beautifully colored glass bunny dishes were produced by L.E. Smith in the 1960s. Originally intended as a novelty covered candy dish, they were inspired by the antique “Hen on Nest” designs of the early 1900-1920s and feature delicately designed animals atop decorated nests or baskets. This design has carried on into modern usage, being reproduced later towards the end of the 20th century and marketed as perfect Easter decorations.
